MONTHLY BUSINESS MEETINGS, FIGHTER PRACTICES
and POTLUCK COOKOUTS
at Carolina Pines Park, 2305 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh, NC 27603-2611
Starting in October 2008, most Baronial business
meetings and practices will be held on the same date and
location: the 3rd Saturday of the month at
Carolina Pines Park. A potluck cookout will be held in
conjunction with the day's activities, with the different
Cantons taking turns coordinating. Updates will be
posted on
The Keep.
Fighter Practices will run from Noon-5 PM behind
the tennis court.
Business Meetings will run from 5-6 PM in the
picnic shelter.

DIRECTIONS
From I-40, take Exit 297 for Lake Wheeler Road.
If you're traveling East on I-40, turn Right off the
exit ramp.
If you're traveling West on I-40, turn Left off the
exit ramp.
Drive about a half a mile and look for the brown Carolina
Pines Park sign on the Left, and turn Left into
the park.
If the restrooms are locked:
You can use the facilities at the
gas station back up Lake Wheeler Road near the I-40 exit 297 ramp.
Carolina Pines now has a dog park for those people that have
dogs and may want to bring them. Also the
Raleigh Farmers Market is right down the road from the
site. At the market you will find a booth that sells pork products
grown at MAE Farms,
which is owned and operated by some of our local SCA members.
So if you bring a cooler with some ice you could pick up some nice
pork cuts for dinner. :)
