So how does this
sideboard thing work? |
We will be dividing the feast into two seatings; feasters
will have the option of signing up by table for a 6:00 PM or
a 7:00pm seating. It is also hoped that those not
attending court will make a point of being in the first
seating. If you are called into court we'll keep your plate
warm!
Court is scheduled to start at 5:30 PM in the Great Hall
(not the Feast Hall) and is expected to end around 7:00 PM.
Feast begins at 6:00 PM. First seating is at 6:00 PM and
second seating will be at ~7:00 when Court is over. We will
have greeters at the door to remind people of the feast
rotation.
The food will be graciously served buffet style by our team
of servers. We will have servers for drinks. Once an
individual sits they should not have to rise again until
their meal is over. Please bring all your
feast gear as you normally would but keep in mind the
seating is shorter than normal. Candles are OK.
Since we have a Dansliker (ball) starting in the Great Hall
at 8:30 PM and a Town Meeting followed by a Bardic in the
Feast Hall (or classroom), also at 8:30 PM, be assured that
there is even more fun to be had after Feast. |
